Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our general approach to project cancellations, refunds, deposits, milestones and changes. Project-specific written terms take priority.

1. Why project terms can differ
Innovaliance works across consulting, branding, marketing, websites, software, automation and other services. Because the cost structure and work involved can be very different from one project to another, refund and cancellation terms should be agreed in writing for each engagement.
2. Before work begins
Before approving a project, clients should review the scope, deliverables, payment schedule, milestones, estimated timeline, revision limits, responsibilities and cancellation terms in the proposal or agreement.
3. Deposits and advance payments
Where a project requires an advance payment or milestone payment, the applicable proposal or agreement should state how that payment is treated. Work may be scheduled, resources allocated or third-party costs committed after payment, which can affect refund eligibility.
4. Cancellation by a client
If a client wishes to cancel a project, they should contact Innovaliance as soon as possible. We will review the work completed, approved milestones, committed costs and the written project terms before determining any amount due or refundable.
5. Delayed projects
If a project is delayed because required content, access, approvals or feedback are not provided, the delivery schedule may need to be adjusted. Extended delays may require a revised plan or commercial arrangement.
6. Third-party costs
Domain names, hosting, paid plugins, software subscriptions, advertising spend, app-store fees and other third-party charges may be non-refundable under the third party's own terms. Such costs are separate from Innovaliance service fees unless explicitly included in an agreement.
7. Defects and corrections
If an agreed deliverable contains an issue that is within the agreed scope, clients should report it promptly so it can be reviewed and corrected according to the project terms. A new requirement or change of direction may be treated as additional work.
8. Contact
For a project-specific question, contact hello@innovaliance.com. The signed or otherwise agreed project document controls where it contains specific refund or cancellation provisions.
